Our Story

A small roastery, quietly built

Alpine Provisions started as a simple disagreement with the way most supermarket coffee and tea is sold — stale, anonymous, and priced as though freshness did not matter. We wanted the opposite.

What we stock

We carry a small, curated set of coffees and loose-leaf teas, plus considered gift bundles. Every lot has to earn its place on the bench: a single origin with a story we can tell, a tea from a named estate, a blend we would drink ourselves.

Our producers are mostly small farms and family estates — people who still pick by hand and take their time. We visit when we can. We pay on time. When a lot does not meet our standard, we say so and move on.

How we think about price

We do not chase the lowest price. We chase the right one — fair to the farmer, fair to you, and enough margin for us to stay in business without cutting corners. If a coffee is cheaper somewhere else, it is probably sourced differently.

You pay for provenance, freshness, and attention. We think you notice the difference, even without being told.

Where we ship from

Everything ships from our small roastery in Phoenix. Coffee is roasted the day before it ships — often the same morning. Orders leave within two business days. We use recycled paper packing, no plastic filler. Your box arrives looking like it was packed by a human, because it was.

We ship across the United States and to most countries. International shipping is calculated at checkout — we charge exactly what it costs us, nothing more.

"Buy less, buy better."

An old idea, still a good one. We are glad to play our small part in it.
